Show touches
This setting enables the display of visual dots on screen indicating where the touch screen is being touched.
This may be useful to app developers when troubleshooting issues with their app responding to the touch screen.
Tapping and dragging are shown, and for touch screens that support multi-touch it will show all fingers that have been detected.
This setting only shows dots where the screen is being touched. To get additional diagnostic information about the touch points including X and Y coordinates, pressure readings and more, see the Pointer location option.
Other uses
This feature can also be useful for non-developers when recording a screencast or broadcasting your screen, for example in a lecture or demonstration, to show viewers where you are touching the screen.
